Is the AI HR assistant free?

Yes — AI chat is currently free for all sign-ups during our growth phase. There’s a per-business quota to keep costs sane; we’ll tell you well in advance before any pricing change.

What language does it work in?

English today, including Hinglish-style phrasing (‘mark Ramesh absent today’, ‘kitna salary banta hai Priya ka’). Full Hindi and regional languages are on the roadmap.

Can it do everything the app can do?

It covers the most common owner tasks: attendance, salary queries, leave approvals, simple reports. For edge cases (editing past months, admin reconciliation), you still use the app screens.

Will the AI take an action I didn’t intend?

No. Anything that changes data — marking attendance, approving leaves, sending slips — asks you to confirm with a clear summary of what will happen. Read-only queries (‘show me…’, ‘how many…’) answer directly.

Is my business data sent to OpenAI / a third party?

Your prompt and a structured summary of the relevant business context are sent to our AI provider to generate the response. We don’t expose raw bulk data, and the provider doesn’t train on your messages. Full privacy details are in our Privacy Policy.

How fast is it?

Most replies come back in under a second. Heavy report queries can take 2–3 seconds. We optimise for the ‘sharp human assistant’ feel, not the ‘slow chatbot’ feel.

Can my employees use the AI too?

Employees get a read-only AI chat in their app — they can ask about their own attendance, leaves, and salary. They cannot trigger actions or see other employees’ data.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

Three safeguards: confirmation step before any destructive action, a clear ‘undo’ on most actions, and full chat history. If anything looks off, you cancel before confirming — or roll back from the audit log.
