Is the attendance app free?

Yes. Owner-marked attendance is free for up to 10 employees, with all the features above. Self-mark, GPS verification and selfie capture are also available on the free tier (plan-gated above 10 employees).

Does it work without internet?

Attendance marking works offline. Your taps queue up and sync the moment you’re back online. No data is lost.

How do I stop buddy-punching?

Turn on GPS verification. You set the shop coordinates and a radius (e.g. 50 metres). Employees can only self-mark when they’re inside the radius. For higher trust, also require a selfie.

Can I mark a half-day?

Yes. Open the employee, tap Half-day. It counts as 0.5 days for salary calculation. Same for late marks, which are tracked but configurable per business.

What if my employee doesn’t have a smartphone?

No problem — you mark their attendance from your phone. Self-mark is optional, not required. Many of our shops have a mix: some employees self-mark, others are owner-marked.

Can I edit attendance after the day is over?

Yes, owners can edit past attendance entries. Every edit is logged for audit. We recommend a 2–3 day grace window in your team’s working agreement.

Is the attendance data linked to salary?

Yes, completely. Days present × per-day rate = base monthly salary, with half-days at 0.5×. You don’t do the math.
