Is the salary slip generator free?

Yes. PDF salary slip generation is included on the free plan for up to 10 employees, and on every paid plan above that. WhatsApp delivery is also free for current sign-ups.

What does the slip include?

Business name, employee name and ID, pay period, days worked / present / absent, base salary, bonuses, advances, deductions, and net payable — all in INR, all with a clear breakdown.

Can I add my business logo to the slip?

Yes — uploaded business logos are picked up automatically by the slip generator. Set this in Profile → Business.

Does it support GST or TDS on the slip?

Today, no — Arth Saathi’s slip is built for cash-and-bank Indian SMB payroll without statutory deductions. PF/ESI/TDS fields are on the roadmap.

Can my employee download a past slip themselves?

Yes. Slips are archived on the employee app. They can re-download any past month at any time, no owner action required.

Is the slip valid for bank loans / visa proof?

It’s a professional-format PDF with your business name and a clear breakdown. Many banks and rental platforms accept it as informal salary proof. For formal statutory proof (Form 16, etc.), you still need a CA — that’s outside Arth Saathi’s scope.

Can I customise the slip layout?

Currently the layout is fixed (clean and audit-friendly). Custom layouts are on the roadmap for paid plans.
