Is the employee management software free?

Yes. Arth Saathi is free for businesses with up to 10 employees — full feature access, no credit card required. Paid plans start at ₹500/month for 10–25 employees. New sign-ups currently get all paid features free while we are in growth phase.

Which businesses is this software built for?

Indian SMBs running on Android phones: kirana / general stores, salons and parlours, restaurants and dhabas, small factories and workshops, coaching classes, medical shops, and field-service teams. Anything with 3 to 100 employees on shift-style work.

Do my employees need to install an app?

It’s optional. Your employees get the most value when they install the employee app — they can see their salary, request leaves, and self-mark attendance. If they don’t, you (the owner) can still manage everything from your phone.

Does it work offline?

Yes, the core attendance flow works offline and syncs when you’re back online. Salary calculation and AI chat need a connection.

Can I generate a salary slip in PDF?

Yes. Every employee gets an auto-generated monthly PDF slip showing base salary, days worked, advances, deductions, bonuses and net payable. Slips can be sent on WhatsApp.

Is my data safe?

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on Indian servers, and isolated per business — no cross-tenant access. You can export your data anytime.

How is this different from ‘free attendance’ apps?

Free attendance apps stop at marking attendance. Arth Saathi calculates salary from that attendance, generates slips, manages leaves, and handles disputes. It’s one app instead of four notebooks.

Can I use it in Hindi or my regional language?

The owner UI is in English right now, with Hinglish friendly copy. Employee notifications and AI replies have regional-language support on the roadmap.
