GPS attendance app for shops, sites and field teams.
Set your shop’s location once. Your staff can only mark themselves present when they’re actually there. Optional selfie verification for full trust.
- Shop radius you control
- Selfie verification
- Map-based proof
- Daily cutoff time
✦ The problem
Buddy-punching is real. So is the cost.
If your staff marks themselves present from home — or worse, from a friend marking attendance on their behalf — you’re paying for hours that didn’t happen. For a 20-person team, even one buddy-punched day a month per employee adds up to ₹15,000+ a year in salary you didn’t need to pay.
Biometric machines fix this for fixed locations, but they break, they cost ₹15,000+, and they don’t move with your team. Field teams, multi-site setups and home-service businesses can’t use them at all.
GPS attendance turns every employee’s phone into a verified check-in point. You set the location and radius. They mark themselves present only when they’re inside. The system stores location, time, and (optionally) a selfie. Done.
✦ What you get
Built for the messy reality of Indian small businesses.
Set your shop’s coordinates
Tap the map at your actual shop / site / branch. Pick a radius (default 50m). Save. That’s the setup.
Lock self-mark to the radius
When an employee opens the self-mark screen, their location is checked against the shop. Outside the radius? Self-mark is blocked.
Optional selfie verification
Turn on selfie capture. The employee’s phone takes a selfie at mark-in, timestamped and tied to the attendance record.
Daily cutoff time
Set a cutoff time per day (e.g. 11 AM). After that, self-mark is closed. Late marks become explicit, not silent.
Map-based audit
Every self-mark stores the GPS pin and the reverse-geocoded address. You can see, on a map, exactly where each mark happened.
Works on any Android
No special hardware, no biometric machine, no SIM cards to manage. Just the employee’s existing phone with GPS turned on.
Anti-spoof basics
Mock-location detection blocks obvious GPS spoof apps. Add selfie capture for higher trust. Audit trail catches the rest.
Different rules per business
Run multiple shops? Each has its own coordinates, radius, cutoff, and selfie rule. Set them once, forget them.
Owner can still override
If an employee was genuinely outside the radius for a valid reason (delivery, errand), the owner can mark them present manually with a note.
✦ How it works
Turn on GPS attendance in three steps.
- 01
Pin your shop on the map
Profile → Location. Tap the map at your shop. Pick a radius. Tap save.
- 02
Decide on selfie verification
Toggle ‘require selfie’ if you want a photo with every mark. Most retail shops keep it off; field teams turn it on.
- 03
Let your staff self-mark
Employees open their app, tap Mark Present. Their location is checked, selfie captured if required, and the record is saved.
